I’ve recently returned from Cuba and I can’t resist the temptation to share my emotional and physical experience with you.
I simply have lack of words! Just one phrase all the time occurs my mind “Now I know where the paradise is!”.
The thing is I stayed in one of the best hotels all over the world – Palma Real Hotel Cuba. It is a miracle, believe me. Palma Real turns out to be the first hotel I’ve stayed where everything was perfect! Firstly, Palma Real location – it is just perfect – in the very center of Varadero. So when, accidentally, ( I say accidentally because I went out of the hotel only once or twice over two weeks of my staying there) I left Palma Real Hotel Cuba, I didn’t have to spare a lot of time in order to get to the center and do some shopping or go sightseeing.
In general, all what I was doing during two weeks in Palma Real was lying on one of the best and the most gorgeous beaches of Cuba, Varadero Beach, all the day long. My family was not so idle, they took occasion and were practicing volleyball and water polo in on of the five water pools, which Hotel Palma Real has in its disposition.
Even if you stay in your room or in one of three bars of Palma Real Resort, you won’t be thirsty because cold drinks are everywhere and in any quantity. Besides, Palma Real Hotels conditioning system doesn’t leave to desire better, it is marvelous! The rooms in its own are very cosy, comfortable and tidy. Really pleasant and always smiling staff of The Hotel Palma Real Cuba takes care about the ideal cleanness of the rooms and of the whole Cuban resort.
If you got bored by chance, Palma Real offers common activities where everyone can find something to his taste: salsa dancing, jogging, Spanish lessons, swimming, etc.
Food is one of the strongest points in Hotel Palma Real. Its three restaurants are the best ones in the whole city. You’ll try some national Cuban dishes or you can eat the food you’ve already got used to, because international food is a part of the rich menu.
And, of course, night distractions. Palma Real Hotel possess the best disco and the greatest bars in the city, that is why it is a meeting point of all the youth.
To cut my long story short – The Hotel Palma Real Cuba is really worth the money you spend there. You, definitely, should go and try, you won’t regret, I promise.

In General traveling is best what I have seen.
It is very important to know what accommodation to choose when travel. For example one my friend in his site gives nice reviews of San Antonio hotels in Texas.

If anybody wants to go to Varadero, Palma Real can be one of the best choices.
I suppose Cuba Varadero is wonderful place and hotel Palma Real is pretty nice to stay.

One of our friends went to Cuba and stayed in hotel Palma Real.
He says:
It's not a 4 star luxury all inclusive holiday resort but its worthy of a visit!! All these people who slate it obviously paid lots of money and expected to be treated like royalty !! Me and my friend spent 2 wks in the Palma Real hotel soaking up the sun, alcohol and made lots of friends!!
The check in and reception staff were all really friendly and always helpful - drawing maps and writing road names/bars etc down for us to find.

The rooms in Palma Real were really clean - everyday from top to bottom including under the beds and the balconies. Clean sheets and towels made into swans, words 'hola' and 'bye' etc.
The Palma Real pools were clean and there are always enough sun loungers for everyone as there are 3 pools and a swim up pool bar. The were activities going on for everyone if you wanted to get involved such as salsa dancing lessons, spanish lessons, jogging (too hot!), snorkelling in the pool, syncronised swimming and pool parties with games for all the family.
Cuba Varadero beach is a couple of minutes walk hotel Palma Real across the road and is beautiful. There were lots of sunloungers and parasols to sit under to keep out of the sun. Also several pedalos and boats to hire for free. The Varadero Palma Real Cuba beach bar serves paella and sangria every lunch time, also chips, burgers and toasties.
Hotel Palma Real Cuba restaurants in the complex...ok so after 7 nights I did fancy a change of food, but I never starved. The pizzeria was edible I ate alot and like previous reviews pointing out that their pizzas are thinner than in UK but they were fine. Fresh bread and good ice cream in the pizzeria too. It is true about the sparrow type birds that fly around the place and poo but not where your sat usually by the plants in the middle!

The Buffet was hard work - we got fed up of seeing the same food and I did eat alot of pasta, chips and bread. There was a selection of fruit and veg though and a choice of meat if you got there early but it was a bit like rationing first come first served. The pumpkin was tasty !! Also they will make you omlettes , scrambled, fried egg if you ask which are obviously made infront of you :) . Well, just Cuba. Hotel Palma Real.
The ice cream was really nice definately try it.

Hotel Palma Real bar by the internet place serves the best Cuba pina coladas. The main bar though the staff are friendlier- tip them 1 peso on your first visit to the bar and they will look after you all week with cocktails and beer - they remember what you order. The bar is like the main meeting point and gets quite busy until the show later in the evening, go and see the show majority of them are watchable and the dancing is good. There is no music in the bar so it gets a bit depressing sometimes but the hotel Palma Real Cuba reps try to keep you entertained.

When the bar shuts at midnight go to Habana Club, La Comparsita, La Rumba and Mambo Club all open until 3am you pay 10 pesos (£7) and get unlimited drinks all night - it's Cuba. Hotel Palma Real. The music is a mixture of salsa and r n b and some chart music, mainly full of english and cubans but it was fun.

Cuba is definitely worth a visit and so are the following trips if you've got a bit of money to spend
Club Tropicana open air night club in Havana
Havana
Three Cities tour - Cienfuegos, Trinidad and Santa Clara - a long days travelling but very interesting
Catermaran Cruise to Cayo Blanco Island you get to snorkell.
Hotel Palma Real Cuba:
Just go and give it a chance - think the worse and you`ll probably enjoy yourself as much as we did !!

In March 2006 I was so lucky to visit Cuba with my friends.

We chose the Varadero beach.

We went to the famous tourist resort Varadero and stayed in the
hotel Palma Real Cuba for a week. Varadero has wonderful ocean beaches, warm Sun and very interesting places to go.

It is amazing hotel. There are very clean rooms, good food, staff and everything. It is located in excellent place - in the center of Varadero. Hotel Palma Real Cuba has all the facilities available to enjoy, a lot of sports and activities throughout the day. I liked the Varadero unique beaches very much. It was very interesting to spend time there and to discover Cuban culture.
We had had all clean and good service in Hotel Palma Real Cuba.

In fact Cuba has very beautiful nature. I like the Varadero beach so much. We had great time laying on the beach of Varadero.
I also like Cuban culture and cities. From the hotel Palma Real Cuba city was easy to achive. We liked so much walking the streets and looking at different interesting places. Not so far from hotel Palma Real Cuba we saw the Cuban Hero - well-known Che Guevara.

Beautiful nature, nice beaches, good service and excellent hotel Palma Real Cuba - all this made real paradise in Varadero for me and my friends.
